2011-12 Church School Opportunities Christian Education provides opportunities for children, youth, and adults to explore and discern their call to discipleship. Beginning September 4th, we hope you will join us as we join together on this journey of Christian faith. Nursery Care:Infants/Toddlers: Nursery care is available for those 2 years and under in Room 117 and 101. 2 and 3 year olds: God Loves Me is our early childhood curriculum that uses 52 Bible stories with age appropriate activities to experience God's message for our younger learners. Class meets in Room 107. 4 and 5 year olds: Using Walking with Me a Bible story curriculum, children will explore God's Word Elementary:Using the PCUSA's denomination curriculum, We Believe, children will explore key relationships from the Old Testament using a balanced multiple intelligences approach to curriculum. Younger Elementary (1st & 2nd Grades) meets in room 209 of the Education Building. Older Elementary (3rd, 4th, & 5th Grades) meets in room 206 of the Education Building. Youth:Middle School (6th, 7th, and 8th grades)Using a new curriculum, Ancestors, MS youth will explore the real, unpolished, unexpected personalities of Old Testament characters to help understand that God calls unlikely people to do extraordinary things...together. Meets in Bethlehem Hall #3, underneath the Sanctuary. Senior High (9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades)Senior High youth will explore issues of faith and life using a specially designed curriculum, Alphabet Soup. Meets in the Senior High Room, underneath the Sanctuary. Confirmation (8th Grade)Beginning in January, all eighth graders are invited to join on Wednesday nights to explore what is means to be Presbyterian and what it means to be a member of the church.
